Plot – A Terminator comes back to Earth because tasked to defend Sarah Connor and her son John from the attack of a terrifying model of cyborg, the deadly T-1000, able to break down as a jelly and to put himself back together in thousands different ways, taking others features just by touching them, pull out deadly blades, to cunningly hide flattening to the floor, to pass through bars with paltry ease. While fighting against the deadly killer, Sarah, John and the “good” Terminator come into contact with Dyson, head of the future project Skynet - the self-defense system that will activate spontaneously on August 29, 1997, in order to destroy the world in a nuclear holocaust - who will rule the world with cyborgs of his own production. To thwart the dramatic events to come, the three will have to be able to retrieve all of Skynet’s documents, including the chip from which everything started.

“The terminator would never stop. It would never leave him, and it would never hurt him, never shout at him, or get drunk and hit him, or say it was too busy to spend time with him. It would always be there. And it would die, to protect him. Of all the would-be fathers who came and went over the years this thing, this machine, was the only one...” (continue)(continue reading)
“- John Connor: We've got company! Police!
- Sarah Connor: How many?
- John Connor: Uh... all of 'em, I think.”“Fucking men like you built the hydrogen bomb. Men like you thought it up. You think you're so creative. You don't know what it's like to really create something; to create a life; to feel it growing inside you. All you know how to create is death and destruction.”
She'd shack up with anybody she could learn from so she could teach me how to be this "great military leader". Then she gets busted. And it's like, "Sorry kid, your mom's a psycho. Didn't you know?". It's like everything I'd been brought up to believe was all made of bullshit. I hated her for that! But everything she said was true. She knew...... (continue)(continue reading)
- John Connor: No, no, no, no. You gotta listen to the way people talk. You don't say "affirmative" or some shit like that. You say "no problemo". And if someone comes on to you with an attitude you say "eat me". And if you want to shine them on it's "hasta la vista, baby".
- The Terminator: Hasta la vista, baby.“- The Terminator: My mission is to protect you.
- John Connor: Yeah? Who sent you?
- The Terminator: You did. Thirty-five years from now, you reprogrammed me to be your protector here, in this time.
- John Connor: This is deep...”“- John Connor: Jesus, you were gonna kill that guy.
- The Terminator: Of course; I'm a Terminator.”“- The Terminator: The T-1000 can't form complex machines. Guns and explosives have chemicals in them. Moving parts. It doesn't work that way, but it can form solid metal shapes.
- John Connor: Like what?
- The Terminator: Knives and stabbing weapons.”“- John Connor: We just cry. You know, when it hurts.
- The Terminator: Pain causes it?
- John Connor: No, it's when there's nothing wrong with you, but you hurt anyway. You get it?
- The Terminator: No.”“- The Terminator: I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle.

- The Terminator: Typically, the subject being copied is terminated.

- The Terminator: Negative. She's not a mission priority.
- John Connor: Fuck you! She's a priority to me!”“- John Connor: This other guy's a Terminator like you, right?

- John Connor: What the hell does that mean?
- The Terminator: Liquid metal.”“- John Connor: We're not gonna make it, are we? People, I mean.

“Three billion human lives ended on August 29th, 1997. The survivors of the nuclear fire called the war Judgment Day. They lived only to face a new nightmare: the war against the machines. The computer which controlled the machines, Skynet, sent two Terminators back through time. Their mission: to destroy the leader of the human resistance, John...” (continue)(continue reading)
August 29, 1997, came and went. Nothing much happened. Michael Jackson turned 40. There was no Judgment Day. People went to work as they always do. Laughed, complained, watched TV, made love. I wanted to run to through the street yelling to grab them all and say, "Every day from this day on is a gift. Use it well". Instead, I got drunk.
“The whole thing goes: The future's not set. There's no fate but what we make for ourselves.”
