Plot – Flor arrives in Los Angeles. She is coming from Mexico with her daughter Cristina. She is escaping from their world, in search of work and a better life. She gets hired by John and Deborah Clasky as a maid, but she is challenged to adjust to this new life with language barriers, with her daughter becoming a woman and with the eccentric lifestyle of her new employers.
