Plot – Edward R. Murrow is a famous CBS anchorman. Learning Senator Joseph McCarthy has a blacklist in which he notes the name of all people suspected of communism, Murrow decides to spread that same news and dedicates several episodes of his show - 'See It Now' - to the controversial figure of the politician. Despite intimidations and death threats, Edward succeeds in freeing America from McCarthy's fanaticism, supported by his producer Fred Friendly.
