Plot – The bond between the Marquise de Merteuil and the Vicomte de Valmont is very special. Abandoned by a previous lover and still hurting, the Marquise challenges Vicomte on his ability as seducer. After successfully corrupting the fifteen-year-old Valmont – again, with the advice of the Marquise – de Valmont also seduces Madame de Tourvel, wife of an austere magistrate. However, the reactions of the seduced and abandoned noblewoman lead the libertine man to reflect on his life.
