Plot – In 1914 the young linguist and cartographer Milo James Thatch decides to continue the search of the mysterious city of Atlantis started by his grandfather Thaddeus. To be successful, however, he has to find the manuscript of Sheperd, an ancient book able to provide the key to discover the empire swallowed up by a giant tsunami. With the necessary money and the map that an eccentric billionaire philanthropist gave him, Milo begins his journey to the Atlantic Ocean. On the submarine Ulysses, the crew is quite varied: Commander Lyle T. Rourke, the explosives expert Vinny Santorini, the French geologist Gaetan Moliere called 'Mole', the beautiful Helga Sinclair, Dr. Joshua Sweet, the mechanic Audrey Ramirez, the expert in communications Wilhelmina Bertha Packard and the friendly cook Cookie.
