(1940)Plot – Carpenter Geppetto discovers with great surprise the wood puppet he has crafted is alive and animated. Pinocchio - its name - is however a mischievous and disobedient boy who skips school to follow the evil coachman, disobeying his stepfather and the Blue Fairy's advices. Imprisoned, he manages to escape but he's engulfed by an enormous whale. In its belly, Pinocchio meets Geppetto and saves his life. In the end the boy is rewarded and becomes a real boy.
