Plot – The Trial Of The Chicago 7 is a powerful movie based on the infamous 1969 trial of seven ringleaders charged with Conspiracy by the hostile Nixon administration, after a violent clash with police and the National Guard during what was intended to be a peaceful protest at the 1968 Democratic National Convention. The organizers of the protest included Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, Tom Hayden, and Bobby Seale. This trial was one of the most notorious in history.
