Plot – Gwen Cummings is a successful New York writer who is leading a glamorous life, going from one event to another and from one party to another. She shares her frenetic life that includes nightclubs, bars and hangovers with her boyfriend Jasper, who’s handsome, charming and equally attracted by the excesses and the wild life. Life is nothing but a long series of excesses, until the day in which Gwen unfortunately goes at the wedding of her sister Lily, where she gets drunk, she destroys the limousine and gets a sentence of twenty-eight days to spend in a rehabilitation center. Gwen has to deal with a very special list of rules like the prohibition to use the phone and daily rituals like the recitation of mantras, in which take part her extravagant therapy fellows Eddie, Gerhardt, Oliver, Andrew, Roshanda and Bobbie Jean. As a committed metropolitan citizen, Gwen firmly wants to break the rules, but then she meets Cornell.
