Plot – Ben Wade, a dangerous outlaw, assaults a diligence and steals a large sum of money. Dan Evans, a poor farmer, has witnessed the scene but, busy with his daily duties, decides to do nothing about it. His wife Alice, though, disagrees and after many reprimands persuades the man to help the sheriff in the capture of the dangerous outlaw. In the meantime, Ben Wade has sent his band to their hideout and has stopped for a drink in the bar were the beautiful Emmy works. Dan, the sheriff and the other men successfully take Wade by surprise and manage to capture him. They now have to escort the man to jail before his gang comes back to take him. Dan is chosen to take Wade to Fort Yuma.
