Plot – In Beaufort High School, Landon Carter is very popular and he spends time with his friends making fun of the weaks and making terrible jokes. Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of the local pastor, deals with voluntary work and she doesn't have many friends even if she takes part to the group activities of the school. The two guys have no reason to hang out with each other, but Landon gets detention from the principal and he is forced to participate to the educational programs and to a school play. As the days pass, Landon and Jamie get to know each other and, hanging out more often, they find out that perhaps one can fill in the gaps of the other.
