Plot – Warren Schmidt is a depressed man and a widower who has retired. Uncertain about his future, he decides to start a trip through Nebraska to assist her daughter's marriage. Along the way, he writes long letters to a poor boy from Tanzania whom he's funding for 73 cents a day. During the journey, Warren begins to see himself from a different point of view.
