Plot – In Detroit two trade unionists are killed. Sergeant Jackson knows that behind the murders there's Dellaplane, an industrial whose son he arrested a few years earlier. Dellaplane murders his own second wife because she discovered he was guilty. For Jackson the investigation turn into a personal matter, but he solves it without getting too many scruples. He will only take care of Sidney, Dellaplane's lover.
