Plot – 1973: teenage William has just been to his favorite band’s concert, the Stillwater, and is encouraged by the prestigious magazine "Rolling Stone" to write an article about the band’s American tour. Nagged by his anxious mother - who often calls the other daughter to tell her not to take drugs - William finds himself on the road where he meets musicians and falls in love with the groupie Penny Lane.
