Plot – Alvin and the Chipmunks is a 2007 American live-action/computer animated musical comedy film. Three cute chipmunk brothers Alvin, Simon, and Theodore get to Los Angeles when JETT Records purchases the tree they live in to use it as a Christmas tree. They meet struggling songwriter and composer David Seville and despite a poor house wrecking first impression, they impress him with their singing talent. He makes a deal with the Chipmunks to sing songs he writes in exchange for shelter. They quickly become internationally successful and their dream does come true after all. However, their unscrupulous record executive, Ian Hawke, plans to break up this family to exploit the Chipmunks.
