Plot – New York, during ‘70s. Frank Lucas is the quiet driver of the most important African-American boss of the city. When the man dies, Frank takes his place and soon becomes the first New York drug trafficker as he carries heroin directly from Asia. He gets rid of all his competitors, including the Italian-American Mafia and becomes a very important personality in the city. Detective Richie Roberts realizes something has changed in the drug trafficking control and soon learns the new boss' activities.
