Plot – After 17 years of marriage, Erika is abandoned by her husband Martin because he is in love with Macha. Erika is a beautiful, young woman faithful to the family. Her inseparable friends Sue, Elaine and Jeanette try to comfort her and she finds support in her teenage daughter Patty too, who understands her mother but cannot help her. Her psychologist Tanya suggests Erika to make some male friendships and Erika is puzzled about the idea and starts flirting with Charlie, a trivial and selfish womanizer. When Erika meets Saul, an exuberant but sensitive London painter, she believes she has finally found the right man. Meanwhile Martin is abandoned by Macha and thinks to come back to his wife, but the woman now has new goals to reach in her life and she refuses Martin's return dedicating to herself.
