Plot – While Dr. James Atherton is hunting a particular and rare species of spiders in Venezuela, his photographer is bitten and dies within few seconds. His coffin is sent to Canaima, his hometown in California. Once opened, the spider that has traveled within it escapes and refuges in a barn. Young Dr. Ross Jennings moves to Canaima with his family, but for an unfortunate coincidence he's terrorized since childhood by spiders.
