Plot – "Autumn in New York" follows the adventures of Will Keane, a middle-aged New York restaurant owner and a playboy with a bad reputation. He's a master in relationships without commitment, until he meets Charlotte Fielding, who's half his age but she's perfect for him. Charlotte is a twenty-one-year-old free spirit eager to bloom and to feel adulthood's emotions. Will abandons himself to his passion for Charlotte, thinking it's another short story, but nothing is quick or easy for them as they face generational conflicts of all kinds and different lifestyles together with an inexplicable sensuality and closeness. As Will tries to escape the relationship with his usual speech, Charlotte is quite certain too their relationship cannot go ahead.
