Plot – It's the beginning of the century and at Nome, a city of Alaska, bursts a diphtheria epidemic which damages especially children. Essential medicines are in Mercy town, but no vehicle can connect the two cities because of the snow. A sled pulled by dogs tries to get to Mercy but it gets lost along the way. Only Balto will find the road again.
