Plot – Primo and Secondo Pileggi are two Italian emigrants in New York. They have opened a restaurant which is struggling to take off. Primo is the head chef, while Secondo deals with the business and promotes the restaurant. Louis Prima is a famous musician and is playing in the city, so Secondo invites him in their restaurant. Pascal, an experienced businessman, arranges everything, but the night of the event the host doesn't arrive. Pascal actually has never invited him. Now Primo wants to come back to Italy to work as chef in Rome, while Secondo wants to remain in America. At dawn, Secondo prepares breakfast for his brother in the empty restaurant. The two brothers eat without speaking.
