Ron Stallworth is the first African American detective of the Colorado Springs Police Department and he is welcomed with scepticism by the other members of the Department. Stallworth decides to make a name for himself and do something for his community. So, he embarks in a dangerous mission: pretending to be a racist, Stallworth contacts a group of people that are part of the Ku Klux Klan and manages to infiltrate himself into the organisation. Later on, he becomes friends with the Grand Wizard David Duke, that even praises the boy for his commitment to the cause.
