(1941)Plot – Juan Gallardo is the son of a famous toreador and since he was a boy he has aspired to follow his father's footsteps. His mother opposes but Juan starts his career as a bullfighter and has an enormous success, becoming rich and saving his mother from poverty. He marries his girlfriend, but unfortunately he meets another woman and Juan becomes her plaything. When he comes back to his wife, his career seems over, but he wants to try again. In the arena he provokes the enthusiasm of the crowd, but a moment of distraction turns to be fatal.
