Plot – In Cars 3, Lightning McQueen returns to racing as a veteran but he's constantly beaten by the latest racing car model on the track. Jackson Storm wins almost every race, gets all the sponsors and breaks all the records. Lightning, though, is not afraid of the new challenge and he competes with his usual spirit and a bit of arrogance, until a terrible accident in the last race almost ends his career. McQueen, though, is far from over and thanks to the advice of his beloved Hudson "Doc" Hornet, he continues racing even if the odds are against him. His past experience in Radiator Springs thought him that odds and prejudices are easy to overcome. Replacing "Doc" for this new challenge is Cruz Ramirez, a supporter of Lightning McQueen and a trainer, who will help her hero to get back on the track thanks to a special training program.
