Plot – Mortally wounded during a shootout with police, the serial killer Charles Lee Ray transfers his soul into a doll named Chucky through a voodoo spell. The doll is given to little Andy Barclay for his birthday and Chucky immediately begins to kill everyone. Charles' soul however doesn't want to be trapped forever in the body of his new host and the only way to get out is to transmigrate in the first available human being.
