Plot – Speer and Murphy met at the police academy, then life has separated them: the first one is an inflexible and rude Kansas City police lieutenant, the other one runs an investigation agency together with Dehl Swift and Addy, the secretary. When Speer and Murphy meet again, they can't do anything but tease and provoke one another, even if after all they respect each other. Swift gets into troubles blackmailing a shady businessman and playing a double game between him and another boss: he keeps some incriminating accounting documents wanted by the businessman too.
