Plot – Garrison is a quiet New Jersey town called "Cop Land" because of a surplus of policemen working there. Agent Murray notices a car running at full speed and reaches it, but he's threatened with a gun by the two guys inside. The agent reacts and fires, but he realizes he's been threatened with a fake gun and now he has to avoid a scandal, so he disappears. Freddy is a sheriff whose duty is limited to the traffic control and thinks to redeem himself, so he plans to cast new shadows on the police group. With the help of his friend Gary, he discovers Murray and reports him. Things at Garrison town change and the policemen finally have less power.
