Plot – Nicole Oakley, daughter of a rich Member of Congress who is always away for work, attends an exclusive high school in Pacific Palisades. Rebellious and self-destructive, she decides to conquer the heart of Carlos Nunez, a Latino that has to make sacrifices to attend the same school. Nicole ends up falling in love with Carlos even if the relationship seems to be doomed to end because of the many differences between the two. His family, solid and loving, fear that Nicole could damage Carlos' school commitment. Even Nicole's father is against the relationship because he fears that his daughter might damage the promising boy. Carlos has to take a difficult decision but he trusts Nicole's kindness.
