(1939)Plot – Judith is a young heiress who spends her days in the hippodrome or in the casino. Suffering of continuous and painful headaches, she's visited by a specialist, Dr. Frederick Steele. The doctor diagnoses her a brain tumor and submits her to the necessary cares. Soon he realizes there's no remedy and the girl is destined to die soon, but Frederick doesn't tell the truth to Judith because she has fallen in love with him and he marries her. When she discovers the truth, Judith thinks the man has married her only for pity and runs away. Actually Frederick truly loves Judith and looks for his wife relentlessly to relieve her last days of life.
