(2004)Plot – In 1958 the young Katey Miller moves to Havana from the States with her family. Her parents join an exclusive club of wealthy Americans, guests at the luxurious Oceana Hotel. They expect their daughter to hang out with young, ambitious and rich Americans, but Katey prefers to spend her time with Javier, a Cuban waiter. The guy shows her an extravagant part of the city full of venues where the local people dance. The couple decides to take part to the yearly dance competition at ‘The Palace’, so they constantly train everywhere, from the beach to the nightclub ‘La Rosa Negra’. Katey soon realizes that it is possible to express the most intimate feelings while dancing. However, the Cuban Revolution changes their destiny.
