Plot – Sidda Lee, tired of her mother Vivi’s eccentric behavior, moves out of New York and does not want to know anything more about her. She is so over her mother that she does not even invite her to the wedding. One day she finds a package in the mail containing Vivi's diary in which the woman has written her memories since the 1930s. By reading these pages, Sidda Lee finally learns to know her mother.
