Plot – The movie shows the life in the pizzeria of the Italian-American Sal, who has been selling pizzas for years to black people, helped by his sons Vito and Pino. Mookie, a black guy, works there as delivery man, stopping often to his sister’s place or to the woman with whom he had a child. The lazy days follow one another, while the usual loyal clients drink beer. Among them, there are an old drunkard, a moralist who talks nonsense and sells Martin L. King and Malcom X’s pictures, the young ‘Radio’ Raheem and Buggin Out, who blames Sal to have just white people’s portraits in the pizzeria. Actually, Buggin Out is a true agitator and one night he attacks the restaurant to which the owner dedicated his entire life, causing Sal’s inevitable reaction.
