Plot – Stalingrad, 1942. The Soviet city is in the middle of a bitter battle as the Soviet Union is on the verge of a collapse. The Nazi troops are winning, so Stalin sends Khrushchev to watch over the situation. Two snipers fight the decisive battle and they couldn't be more different: Vassili comes from Ural Mountains and he's a peasants' son, while König is noble and smart German.
