Plot – An alien forgotten on Earth is found by a little Elliot, who brings him home. With the help of his older brother and his little sister Gertie, Elliot manages to keep E.T. hidden from the grownups. Slowly the two develop a friendship, which ends up in the construction of a machine that will launch a Space S.O.S. to E.T.'s friends so that they can come and get him back. In the end, after various adventures including the death and the resurrection of the alien and a long chase that reaches its peak with the flight of their bicycles, Elliot and his friends will bring E.T. to the meeting point where the spaceship will take the alien home.
