(1996)Plot – 1952. The radio announces the death of Evita Peron, the woman who has changed the history of Argentina over the past decade. In a flashback, Che Guevara narrates Evita's childhood. She was the illegitimate daughter of a farmer and was born in a town west of Buenos Aires. Grown up, she tied to Agustin Magaldi, a famous tango dancer. Ambitious and determined, Eva wanted to become an actress. When she met Juan Peron, an emerging Argentine political, they became very close and got married. After 1945, Peron was elected president and his wife Evita was his first counselor and supporter. The first lady then took a trip to Europe and established the 'Eva Peron Foundation'. She also formed the 'Peronist women' party and her charisma among the population arised. At the peak of her popularity, she was diagnosed with a tumor. Everybody mourned for the death of a woman perhaps unique.
