Plot – Karen Mccann lives in a Los Angeles neighborhood with her husband Mack and her daughters Julie and Megan. One day Julie is alone in the house, she's assaulted, raped and savagely stabbed by a stranger. Detective Joe Denillo thinks the criminal is Robert Doob, who's been released from prison just a few days before. All evidences are unequivocally against him, but due to legal loopholes he's released. Karen is heartbroken for the loss of her beloved Julie and has nightmares, she loses the harmony with Mack and with her job, so she starts to tail the murderer alone. Through an organization she's provided a gun and instructions to hit the man, meanwhile Doob rapes another girl, but Karen meets him and her homicidal fury finally unleashes against the cynical killer.
