Plot – John Hobbes is a highly respected homicide detective who together with his colleague Jonesy capture a satanic serial killer and participate to his trial. When a killer commits new murders with the same captive's techniques, Lieutenant Stanton thinks the culprit could be a copycat or a corrupt cop. Thereafter, evidences implicate Hobbes in the killings and he's wanted by the police, so the detective contacts Gretta, a theology professor and the daughter of a policeman died years before who reveals Hobbes that light and darkness' forces creep into men's daily lives and influence their behaviors. The evil passes from person to person, creating continuous suspicions and putting one against the other.
