(1989)Plot – During World War II, British Captain Fairbourne and Sergeant Tenga are parachuted in Borneo to convince the indigenous tribes to fight against the Japanese invaders. They are captured by the Dayak, a tribe of headhunters, whose leader is Sergeant Learoyd, a US army deserter who accepts to fight the Japanese in exchange of freedom. At the end of the war, Learoyd is taken prisoner by the British army, but Fairbourne keeps his promise.
