Plot – Professor Philip Brainard is always so wrapped up in his studies that he seems careless and absent. Twice he has forgotten to show up at the altar to marry his girlfriend Sara, who nevertheless is willing to give him another chance. Philip is taken by a lot of ideas. With the help at home of an overprotective flying robot named Weebo, the professor is engaged in finding a substance that could become not only a new source of energy but also the salvation of economically unsound Medfield college, the school where he teaches and of which Sara is the headmistress. Sara sets the wedding date for the third time and it seems like this is it. Philip is already dressed and ready when the laboratory equipment begins to create a rubbery substance that, applied to any object, makes it fly through the air at high speed. Philip once more skips the wedding and then is targeted by the competition that wants to exploit his discovery. Sara is courted by a colleague, which irritates Philip a lot. At a college league basketball game, Medfield seems hopeless. However, in the second half Philip manages to apply the substance he discovered to the players shoes: Medfield wins the game and the prize that helps the college recover economically. Sara tries one more time. Philip finally gets to the altar but through a monitor. They get married and leave for their honeymoon.
