Plot – Vanessa is 15 and her life is a nightmare. When her mother is arrested for prostitution and her stepfather is charged for harassment, she decides to move to her grandmother's, whom she has never met before. She accepts a ride from Bob Wolverton, a respectable man who works with troubled guys. He manages to make Vanessa tell him about her stepfather's abuses and she realizes Bob is the killer the radio is talking about. She hurts him but the police charges her of attempted murder.
