Plot – During the summer holidays, Danny meets and spends a lot of time with Sandy, a girl who unfortunately has to go back to Australia. The boy, who was sure to have lost her, meets her again at the beginning of the school year because she has moved from Sidney and enrolled at the "Rydell". While Sandy tries to become friend with the Pink Ladies Marty, Frenchy and Jean - led by Rizzo - Danny spends his time with his friends Dooby, Sonny and Putzie. The boy pretends to be indifferent to the charm of the girl in order to keep his 'tough guy' reputation alive. Sandy then flirts with the bodybuilder Tom and Danny, who’s jealous, tries to enroll in the school's sport teams. Finally the two starts a long-term relationship, but during the finals of the dance competition broadcasted on TV, Sandy is replaced with the ambiguous Cha-cha, that Danny seems to prefer and with whom he wins. Anyway, the situation slowly gets fixed: during a car race, in which Danny fights against the leader of the opponent "Scorpion", Sandy realizes that she wants to change for him. The year is coming to an end and during the party for the freshly graduates, Sandy and Danny dance perfectly well together.
