Plot – Phil, a television journalist, travels to Punxsutawney in Pennsylvania to participate to the "Groundhog Day", a local festivity. Once the work is over, he wants to leave the village but a snowstorm blocks him there, so he spends the night in a guest house but the next day he goes through all the same events of the day before. At first Phil is incredulous, then alarmed, finally frightened until he learns how to turn the situation in his favor.
