Plot – Jesus Shuttlesworth is a high school basketball phenomenon and he could soon become a professional basketball star or obtain university full-scholarships. Jesus is excited, all the agents want him, every state in America is ready to make any sacrifice in order to have him. They are even willing to free Jake, Jesus's father, who is in prison for accidentally killing his wife. And that's what the Governor, owner of Big State, schemes: if in a week Jake convinces his son to play for the team of the state that detains him, his life sentence will be commuted. The problem is that Jesus hates his father and pride holds Jake back.
