Plot – Two no longer young journalists, Mark and Rachel, meet at a wedding. After dating for a short while, he proposes. Rachel is already divorced and is uncertain on how to answer, but after long pondering, she accepts. After their first child is born, she soon realizes that her husband has a lover. Disheartened, she leaves home to seek refuge with her father. Her husband reaches her, manages to convince her to move back and shortly afterwards their second child is born. The barely saved marriage soon totters when she learns by chance that her husband's extra-marital relationship is far from ended. Irritated and disappointed, once again she takes the children and returns to her father. This time the marriage really is in crisis.
