(1956)Plot – Newport inhabitants celebrate two events, the Jazz Festival and the marriage of beautiful Tracy Lord, who has divorced Dexter Haven and is going to marry George Kittredge. Dexter is fond of Jazz and comes to town the day before the wedding, but he wants to conquer Tracy back, so he gives the girl a yacht in miniature to let her remember when they used to travel on a real one. George is jealous and due to other events Tracy understands he's not the right man for her, but their wedding cannot be postponed. When Tracy approaches the altar, she finds her ex-husband by her side.
