“Hoosiers” quotes
(1986)Plot – Norman Dale accepts the job offer of a friend, who's dean at Hickory college in Indiana, to rehabilitate himself. Norman was in fact a former basketball coach, disbarred for having used violent ways, but now he would like to come back to teach. He loves his work: basketball requires sacrifice and discipline, both from the single player and from the entire team. The atmosphere at Hickory college is skeptical and suspicious as the previous coach used to have unorthodox methods as well. A young teacher, Myra Fleener, lines up against Norman.
All actors – Gene Hackman, Barbara Hershey, Dennis Hopper, Sheb Wooley, Fern Persons, Chelcie Ross, Robert Swan, Michael O'Guinne, Wil Dewitt, John Robert Thompson, Michael Sassone, Gloria Dorson
