Plot – Nicholas Angel is the best cop in London and he's so good in his job that everyone else is considered a slacker, so his superiors send him in the quiet village of Sandford. In fact, it seems totally lacking of any criminal activity and there Angel is assigned a partner, agent Danny Butterman. Suddenly the town suffers a series of mysterious incidents and Angel gradually understands Sandford is not a so idyllic place as someone is plotting behind the scenes.
