Plot – In My Country is a 2004 drama film telling the story of Afrikaner poet Anna Malan and an American journalist, Langston Whitfield, sent to South Africa to report about the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission hearings in which the perpetrators of murder and torture on both sides during Apartheid are invited to come forward and confront their victims. Anna and Langston must question their sense of identity. How responsible are they for what is done in the name of their respective countries?
