(2017)Plot – Based on the novel by Stephen King, IT narrates the first part of the story, which takes place in the 80s. A red baloon floating in mid air is the symbol of the the mysterious evil entity that haunts, traps and kills the kids in Derry. In this fictional city of Maine, where people disappear for no reason, the latest victim is a 7 year-old boy, George, that has been sucked into a manhole during a storm. A group of kids, all targeted by the school bullies for different reasons (race, poverty or character), join in "The Losers Club" and start investigating on the mysterious death of George and of the other kids. The leader of the club is Bill Denbrough, George's older brother, who feels guilty for his assassination. In his quest, he is joined by Ben, Richie, Stan, Mike, Eddie and Beverly, the only girl of the club. Their investigation brings them to an evil and sadic clown called Pennywise. The kids eventually realize that they all had met the clown before.
