Plot – John Q. Archibald is an ordinary man who works in a factory and takes care of his family. His wife Denise and his son Michael are all he has. When his boy becomes ill, he has urgently to undergo a heart transplant but the operation is economically inaccessible to the Archibald'S and their insurance will not cover the costs. John will do anything to save his son's life. Driven by desperation, John takes hostage the entire emergency department of the hospital where Michael is hospitalized.
