Plot – Michael has to finalize his divorce from his first wife, Dr. Patricia, before he can marry Charlotte. He decides to travel to the heart of the Amazon rainforest, where Patricia is gone to practice after their separation. There the man discovers suddenly to have a thirteen-year-old son, who has always lived among the natives. Forgetting about his divorce, Michael brings him to New York. The city reality is unknown and incomprehensible to the boy. With much patience, Michael manages to understand his attitudes and reactions, establishing a good relationship with him. Charlotte, however, doesn't suffer the boy's presence. Michael, after tolerating many ironies and jokes, breaks their relationship. Together with his friend and business partner Richard, he travels to the Amazon forest to resume a life with his wife Patricia and his finally re-found son.
